The Miami Beach Woman’s Club is the city’s newest and most unique venue. Over the years the Woman’s Club has persevered, and in 1974 was listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

The Miami Beach Golf Club was originally opened as Bayshore Golf Course in 1923 as part of pioneering developer Carl Fisher’s ambitious Alton Beach subdivision. The club was designed to welcome winter residents from New York, Indianapolis and Detroit to the 18-hole course.
